*Peyton's Place were led to their 12.00 point victory by a 32.30 point effort from Peyton Manning, who tore apart the Jacksonville Jaguars defense for 364 passing yards and 3 passing tds in addition to 1 rushing yards. With this performance, Manning was the number 5 ranked quarterback for week 16. They also got help from a 19.10 point effort from Kevin Smith, who beat the New Orleans Saints defense for 111 rushing yards and 1 rushing td. "This MVP award belongs to the whole team," *Peyton's Place coach Donny Boggess said. *Tennessee Whiskey were helped out in a losing cause by a 22.80 point effort from Tony Romo, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 252 passing yards and 2 passing tds in addition to 2 rushing yards. They also got help from a 13.60 point effort from Brian Westbrook, who snuck past the Washington Redskins defense for 45 rushing yards in addition to 71 receiving yards. "These guys have nothing to be ashamed of," *Tennessee Whiskey coach Kevin Sullivan said. Adding salt to the wound, *Tennessee Whiskey could have scored 100.00 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Kevin Sullivan left key players like Jeff Garcia and his corresponding 28.10 points on the bench. This brings the record for *Peyton's Place to 13-2, and drops *Tennessee Whiskey to a record of 8-8. | ||
