Tommyknockers II were led to their 4.89 point victory by a 16.44 point effort from Matt Schaub, who got by the Miami Dolphins defense for 286 passing yards and 2 passing TDs. They also got help from a 14.60 point effort from Santonio Holmes, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 86 receiving yards and 1 receiving TD.
"I'm happy I could make a contribution," Tommyknockers II coach Kurt Olson said.
Football Remix were helped out in a losing cause by a 23.90 point effort from Chris Johnson, who beat the San Diego Chargers defense for 142 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 37 receiving yards. With this performance, Johnson was the number 4 ranked running back for week 16. They also got help from a 11.55 point effort from Ben Roethlisberger, who got by the Baltimore Ravens defense for 259 passing yards and 1 passing TD.
"The best team won today," Football Remix coach Blitz Jr. said.
Adding salt to the wound, Football Remix could have scored 91.35 points and earned the win with their best lineup, but Blitz Jr. left key players like Matt Ryan and his corresponding 20.25 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Tommyknockers II to 7-7, and drops Football Remix to a record of 7-7.
